Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about implementing nuclear medicine solutions

Costs vary depending on configuration, applications, and infrastructure requirements. A complete PET/CT solution with radiation protection and training typically starts at EUR 2.5-3 million. We offer detailed TCO analyses and flexible financing options, including for SEAP acquisitions.

The standard timeframe is 8-12 months for PET/CT and 6-8 months for SPECT/CT, from contract signing to commissioning. The process includes CNCAN approval (8-12 weeks), site preparation, installation, and acceptance tests. We provide a detailed timeline in the offer phase.

Required: CNCAN approval for the nuclear facility, operating license for nuclear practices, ISU approval for constructions, and certification of medical equipment. Our team manages the entire regulatory process and provides full support for the necessary documentation.

For PET/CT, a minimum of 150-200 m² is required for the scanning room, patient preparation areas, radiotracer storage, and technical spaces. SPECT/CT requires 80-120 m². We offer free consulting for layout optimization and shielding calculations.

The package includes: technical training for operators (40h), clinical training for physicians (24h), maintenance training for technicians (16h), and continuous support for the first 6 months. We certify operators according to CNCAN requirements and provide periodic updates for new applications.

All solutions are DICOM compatible and integrate seamlessly with any existing PACS/RIS/HIS. We support HL7, IHE workflows, and offer APIs for custom integrations. We test connectivity before implementation and offer support for migrating existing data.

We have local service teams with parts in stock and access to manufacturer support 24/7. Preventive maintenance is performed monthly/quarterly according to the manufacturer’s protocols. We remotely monitor performance and provide proactive updates for optimizations and new features.
